1. A topical chemiluminescent composition produced by the process consisting of mixing:
- a. an activator, wherein the activator is a mixture of (i) a solvent that is a mixture of water and at least one organic solvent, (ii) an oxidant, and (iii) a compound selected from the group consisting of a plasticizer, a thickener, a chelating agent, a buffering agent, a catalyst, or any combination thereof;
withb. a luminescer, wherein the luminescer is a mixture of an oxalate compound and a fluorescer,wherein the topical composition does not contain a granular material and is homogeneous, and wherein the composition is self-illuminating upon admixing the activator with the luminescer.
