1. A method of producing a microarray, comprising:

  • providing a solid substrate having an amino functional group attached thereto;

    dissolving a nucleic acid functionalized with an amino group in a solution comprising polyethylene glycol (PEG) to form a solution containing the nucleic acid and the PEG; and

    transferring the solution containing the nucleic acid and the PEG to the substrate, in order to noncovalently immobilize the nucleic acid on the substrate via noncovalent intervention of the PEG, wherein a concentration of the PEG is in a range of 0.4 to 8.0 mM.
