1. A method, comprising:

  • sensing, by a device of a wireless network, a first interference from a first interference source, the first interference being received by first one or more of a plurality of sector antennas of the device;

    sensing, by the device, a second interference from a second interference source, the second interference being received by the first one or more of the plurality of sector antennas;

    applying a first and a second weight to the first and the second interference, respectively, to determine a first weighted interference of the first one or more of the plurality of sector antennas; and

    selecting a subset of the plurality of sector antennas for use to communicate with other devices in the wireless network, based at least in part on the first weighted interference, to avoid at least in part the first interference and/or the second interference during said communicate;

    wherein said selecting is performed by excluding from the subset the first one or more of the plurality of sector antennas if the first weighted interference is greater than a threshold.
