1. A control component comprising:

  • a comparator configured to regulate a body bias voltage of an integrated circuit device, wherein the comparator includes a first input, a second input, and an output node;

    a stabilization component coupled to the output node, wherein the stabilization component is configured to respond to excessive charging of the body bias voltage, wherein the stabilization component includes a plurality of flip-flops, an AND gate coupled to the flip-flops, and a shunt switch coupled to the AND gate and configured to discharge the body bias voltage in response to an output signal at the output node and in response to excessive charging of the body bias voltage;

    a current source coupled to the first input, wherein the current source is configured to generate a reference current; and

    a variable resistor coupled to the current source and to the first input,wherein the reference current is configured to flow through the variable resistor to generate a reference voltage at the first input, andwherein the comparator is further configured to use the reference voltage and the second input to generate the output signal at the output node.
