1. An implantable device for detecting a physiologic event, the device comprising:

  • an electromagnetic interference (EMI) detection module operable to receive an input signal characteristic of the physiologic event, the input signal including physiologic event components and EMI components, the EMI components including high frequency EMI components, and the EMI detection module being further operable to attenuate the physiologic event components and to pass the high frequency EMI components in an output signal; and

a signal conditioning module operable to generate a filtered signal from the input signal, the filtered signal having the high frequency EMI components removed; and

a mitigation module operable to use the high frequency EMI components in the output signal from the EMI detection module to remove the EMI components from the filtered signal.
