1. An apparatus comprising a wireless communication device including:

  • a dielectric substrate with a first side opposite a second side;

    two or more antenna elements spaced apart from one another along the first side of the substrate; and

    an electrical ground region carried on the second side of the substrate, the electrical ground region including a first electrically conductive area opposite a first one of the antenna elements, a second electrically conductive area opposite a second one of the antenna elements, and an electrically conductive meander line structure interconnecting the first area and the second area, the meander line structure extending along the second side of the substrate opposite a portion of the first side positioned between the first one of the antenna elements and the second one of the antenna elements.
