1. An electrode driving circuit for a flat panel display apparatus including a configuration in which a driving power supply source and a reference potential point are connected to an output terminal via a corresponding driving device, wherein:
- a power distributing circuit is inserted between at least one of the driving power supply source or the reference potential point and the driving device; and
the power distributing circuit is a different element from the driving device;
wherein the driving power supply source outputs a plurality of different voltage levels in a selective manner; and
wherein the power distributing circuit includes a plurality of power distributing units, one for each of the plurality of different voltage levels.

A plasma display apparatus having a plurality of addressing electrodes, scan electrodes, and display electrodes and using a plurality of subframes for displaying an image of a frame, at least one of the subframes having an addressing period for selecting display cells and a sustain period for generating sustain discharge in the selected display cells, comprising:

an addressing driver applying addressing pulses to the plurality of address electrodes during the addressing period; a scan driver applying scanning pulses having opposite polarity to that of the addressing pulses during the addressing period; and a common driver applying sustain pulses to the display electrodes during the sustain period; wherein the addressing driver has a driving power supply source supplying power of the address pulses, at least one addressing drive IC, which is connected to the power supply source and reference potential point, for applying the addressing pulses to a plurality of addressing electrodes corresponding with display data, and a resistive element which is inserted between the driving power supply source and the addressing drive IC or between the reference potential point and the addressing drive IC, wherein the addressing driver has a plurality of the addressing drive ICs. - View Dependent Claims (7, 8)

A plasma display apparatus having a plurality of addressing electrodes, scan electrodes, and display electrodes and using a plurality of subframes for displaying an image of a frame, at least one of the subframes having an addressing period for selecting display cells and a sustain period for generating sustain discharge in the selected display cells, comprising:

an addressing driver applying addressing pulses to the plurality of address electrodes during the addressing period; a scan driver applying scanning pulses having opposite polarity to that of the addressing pulses during the addressing period; and a common driver applying sustain pulses to the display electrodes during the sustain period; wherein the scan driver applies intermediate voltage to the plurality of scan electrodes and selects a line by applying a scanning pulse having a voltage that is lower than the intermediate voltage, and the addressing driver applies the addressing pulse to the address electrodes when the scanning pulse is applied; and wherein the addressing driver has a driving power supply source supplying power of the address pulses, at least one addressing drive IC, which is connected to the power supply source and reference potential point, for applying the addressing pulses to a plurality of addressing electrodes corresponding with display data, and a resistive element which is inserted between the driving power supply source and the addressing drive IC or between the reference potential point and the addressing drive IC, wherein the addressing driver has a plurality of the addressing drive ICs. - View Dependent Claims (10, 11)
