1. An apparatus, comprising:

  • a distal member having a distal end portion, a closed distal end, and a proximal end portion, the distal end portion of the distal member defining an opening, the proximal end portion of the distal member defining an opening, the distal member defining a lumen extending from the opening of the distal end portion of the distal member to the opening of the proximal end portion of the distal member;

    a proximal member having a distal end portion and a proximal end portion, the distal end portion of the proximal member defining an opening, the proximal end portion of the proximal member defining an opening, the proximal member defining a lumen extending from the opening of the distal end portion of the proximal member to the opening of the proximal end portion of the proximal member;

    a connection member coupled to the proximal end portion of the distal member and the distal end portion of the proximal member, the connection member having a first configuration and a second configuration different than the first configuration, the proximal end portion of the distal member and the distal end portion of the proximal member being separated by a first distance when the connection member is in the first configuration, the proximal end portion of the distal member and the distal end portion of the proximal member being separated by a second distance when the connection member is in the second configuration, the first distance being less than the second distance; and

    an actuation thread having a distal end portion and a proximal end portion, the distal end portion of the actuation thread coupled to the connection member, at least a portion of the proximal end portion of the actuation thread being disposed outside of a patient when the distal end portion of the actuation thread is disposed within the patient, the actuation thread configured to move the connection member from the first configuration to the second configuration.
