Abstract

A method of analyzing a credit counseling agency, the method including: automatically capturing, with a computer system, respective call data for each of a plurality of telephone calls with a credit counseling agency, each said call with a respective debtor associated by the computer system with a respective creditor; and processing, with the computer system, the automatically captured respective call data to produce a report which analyzes the credit counseling agency.

Claims

1. A method of using an apparatus in analyzing a credit counseling agency, the method including:

automatically capturing, with a computer system, respective call data for each of a plurality of telephone calls with a credit counseling agency, each said call with a respective debtor associated by the computer system with a respective creditor; and

processing, with the computer system, the automatically captured respective call data to produce a report which analyzes the credit counseling agency.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the report includes call referral information.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the report includes call referral activity by state of call origin.

4. The method of claim 2, wherein the call data includes an area code.

5. The method of claim 2, wherein the call data includes a referrer identity.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the respective creditor is a bank.

7. The method of claim 5, wherein the respective creditor is a bank.

8. The method of claim 1, wherein the report includes comparative information on referrers from which the telephone calls are received.

9. The method of claim 8, wherein the telephone calls include telephone calls received on a toll-free telephone number.

10. The method of claim 2, wherein the call referral information includes call referral activity which is reported at an Internet address.

11. The method of claim 1, wherein the report includes a comparison of credit-counseling agencies.

12. The method of claim 2, wherein the report includes a comparison of credit-counseling agencies.

13. The method of claim 6, wherein the report includes a comparison of credit-counseling agencies.

14. The method of claim 1, wherein the report includes charge card numbers.

15. The method of claim 2, wherein the report includes charge card numbers.

16. The method of claim 5, wherein the report includes charge card numbers.

17. The method of claim 6, wherein the report includes charge card numbers.

18. The method of claim 7, wherein the report includes charge card numbers.

19. The method of claim 8, wherein the report includes charge card numbers.

20. The method of claim 13, wherein the report includes charge card numbers.
