1. A method of prompting a patient during an imaging procedure, comprising:

  • obtaining data, wherein the data comprises a first target result that is desired to be achieved when a portion the patient moves from a first position to a second position, the first position of the portion of the patient, and a future time by which the first target result is desired to be achieved, wherein the future time is determined before the portion moves to the second position; and

    displaying a graphic using the data before the portion of the patient moves to the second position, wherein the graphic is configured for indicating to the patient the first target result, the first position of the portion of the patient, and when the future time will arrive, thereby allowing the patient to decide when to begin movement of the portion from the first position to the second position in order to achieve the first target result by the future time;

    wherein the graphic is configured to indicate an amount of remaining image data that is desired to be obtained in the imaging procedure.
