A water amusement system, comprising a participant identifier remotely coupled to the water amusement system, wherein the participant identifier is couplable to the participant, wherein the participant identifier is configured to identify a participant in a water amusement system, and wherein at least a portion of the water amusement system remotely coupled to the participant identifier is automated, wherein the participant identifier is configured to generate at least one signal to operate one or more automated portions of the water amusement system, wherein the participant identifier comprises an interactive point couplable to the participant and is configured such that when a participant interacts with the interactive point at least one signal is generated by the participant identifier, and wherein one or more of the automated portions of the water amusement system comprises at least a portion of a water amusement ride or a water amusement game.

Abstract
A water transportation system and method are described, generally related to water amusement attractions and rides. Further, the disclosure generally relates to water-powered rides and to a system and method in which participants may be actively involved in a water attraction. This transportation system comprises at least two water stations and at least one water channel connecting the at least two water stations for the purpose of conveying participants between the at least two water stations. In addition, the water transportation system may include conveyor belt systems and water locks configured to convey participants from a first source of water to a second source of water which may or may not be at a different elevation.

A water amusement system, comprising a participant identifier remotely coupled to the water amusement system, wherein the participant identifier is couplable to the participant, wherein the participant identifier is configured to identify a participant in a water amusement system, and wherein at least a portion of the water amusement system remotely coupled to the participant identifier is automated, wherein the participant identifier is configured to generate at least one signal to operate one or more automated portions of the water amusement system, wherein the participant identifier comprises an interactive point couplable to the participant and is configured such that when a participant interacts with the interactive point at least one signal is generated by the participant identifier, and wherein one or more of the automated portions of the water amusement system comprises at least a portion of a water amusement ride or a water amusement game.

identifying a participant in at least a portion of a water amusement system with a participant identifier remotely coupled to the portion of the water amusement system, wherein the portion of the water amusement system remotely coupled to the participant identifier is at least partially automated, wherein the participant identifier is coupled to the participant; identifying a control signal generated by the participant identifier, wherein at least one control signal is generated in response to the participant engaging an interactive point coupled to the participant; and operating a portion of the water amusement system in response to the participant identifier control signal. - View Dependent Claims (13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22)
