1. A bypass conduit for placement within a hollow body organ, comprising:

  • a tubular member which defines a main lumen therethrough,a first expandable gasket at a proximal end of the tubular member;

    a second expandable gasket distal to the first self-expanding gasket;

    wherein said tubular member is flexible between the first and second expandable gaskets;

    wherein the main lumen maintains communication from proximal to distal of the hollow body organ;

    wherein at least a portion of an outer surface of the tubular member is adapted to maintain fluid communication therealong; and

    wherein tissue is secured between the first and the second gasket by the expansion of the first and second expandable gaskets.
