1. A computer-readable medium having computer-readable instructions stored thereon which, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to perform a method of managing marketing of a plurality intellectual property assets, the method comprising:
- identifying, through the computer, at least one potential customer for at least one of the intellectual property assets, the intellectual property assets comprising copyrights, trademarks, patents, and trade secrets;
generating, through the computer, a marketing project plan for the identified at least one intellectual property asset based on a template plan and on the at least one identified customer;
receiving, through the computer, intellectual property data associated with one of the intellectual property assets; and
accessing, through the computer, product data describing a plurality of products, at least one of the plurality of products being related to the one intellectual property asset;
wherein the at least one potential customer is identified based on the product data and the intellectual property data.

Abstract
The present invention relates to methods and systems for intellectual property management. In an embodiment, a system includes an intellectual property asset inventory system to manage an inventory of intellectual property assets. A product inventory system manages an inventory of products, where the inventory of products correspond to a plurality of products and one or more of the products of the plurality of products are associated with one or more of the intellectual property assets of the plurality of intellectual property assets. A marketing management system manages a plurality of marketing projects, where one or more of the marketing projects of the plurality of marketing projects are associated with at least one of (i) one or more products of the plurality of products, and (ii) one or more intellectual property assets of the plurality of intellectual property assets.
