1. A glucose level measuring method using glucose dehydrogenase for measuring glucose level by utilizing a reaction system containing an enzyme and an electron carrier,wherein the enzyme is glucose dehydrogenase derived from a microorganism belonging to burkholderia genus;

  • andwherein the electron carrier is a Ru compound represented by a chemical formula as follows;

    [Ru(NH3)5X]n+where X represents NH3, halogen ion, CN, pyridine, nicotinamide or H2O, and n+ represents a valency of the Ru complex, which is determined by X;

    the method comprising;

    causing the glucose dehydrogenase to oxidize the glucose while reducing the Ru compound, for producing a response; and

    computing the glucose level based on the response.
