1. A method of transmitting an audio signal via two or more transducers through bone, comprising:

  • providing an apparatus comprising a housing, a first transducer disposed within or upon the housing, and a second transducer, wherein said apparatus produces an interference fit between the apparatus and at least two surfaces of at least a first tooth;

    positioning the housing onto the at least a first tooth of a user, wherein the housing is configured to engage the at least a first tooth without requiring anatomical modification of the at least a first tooth and without bonding to the at least a first tooth;

    receiving an audio signal via at least a first microphone;

    filtering the audio signal into at least a first frequency range and a second frequency range;

    vibrating the first transducer to transmit the first frequency range into the at least a first tooth and through the bone of the user; and

    vibrating the second transducer to transmit the second frequency range into the at least a first tooth or at least a second tooth and through the bone of the user.
