1. A computer implemented method for delivering commercials from a content management apparatus to content providers, wherein all steps are performed by the computer, the computer comprising a processor, a memory device and control logic stored therein, said method comprising:

  • presenting a plurality of advertisement campaigns to a user through a computer interface, each advertising campaign comprising a plurality of fillable video segment slots, eachfillable segment slot arranged at a specific time point within said advertisement campaign, each of the plurality of advertisement campaigns including at least one non-customizable advertisement portion and at least one customizable advertisement portion;

    receiving a campaign selection input from the user;

    in response to receiving the campaign selection input, presenting the user with a first set of criteria associated with the customizable advertisement portion of the selected advertisement campaign;

    receiving a first criteria selection from the user;

    accessing a library of media segments stored in the memory device, each of the media segments comprising a portion of an advertisement, each media segment associated with metadata defining the media segment;

    transmitting the criteria selection to an assembly component;

    searching the library for media segments having metadata correlating with the criteria selection;

    retrieving at least one correlating media segment from the library;

    inserting the correlating media segment into one of the fillable media slots in the customizable advertisement portion;

    merging the customizable advertisement portion comprising the correlated media segment with at least a portion of the non-customizable advertisement portion, thereby forming a completed commercial; and

    presenting a preview of the completed commercial prior to transmitting the completed commercial to a local content provider.
