1. A method for controlling a transmission of uplink control information at a user equipment in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

  • receiving by the user equipment a random access response including resource allocation information, wherein the resource allocation information indicates a radio resource used for a transmission of a shared channel as part of a random access procedure; and

determining by the user equipment a channel assignment for the uplink control information if the transmission of the uplink control information is needed, wherein, if the transmission of the shared channel corresponding to the resource allocation information in the random access response is not present at a time when the transmission of the uplink control information is needed, then the transmission of the uplink control information is performed at the time, andwherein if the transmission of the shared channel corresponding to the resource allocation information in the random access response is present at a time when the transmission of the uplink control information is needed, then the transmission of the uplink control information is discarded at the time.
