Adaptive coding and modulation with MIMO wireless and wired communication
First Claim
1. A cellular telephone system comprising:
- a first processor for receiving and processing an infrared (IR), a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and a sensor generated signal into processed IR, RFID and sensor signal and for providing said processed IR, RFID and sensor signal to an interface unit, wherein said sensor is in said cellular telephone;
a second processor for processing and combining said first processor processed RFID signal with one or more of said processed IR or sensor signal into said second processor processed combined signal;
a third processor for processing said combined signal into a processed shaped baseband signal;
a modulator for modulating said processed shaped baseband signal, wherein said modulator is within said cellular telephone and wherein said third processor processed signal comprises a processed ultra narrowband (UNB) and ultra wideband (UWB) signal; and

Abstract
A system and method for processing Adaptive Coding and Modulation (ACM) in Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) Wireless and Wired Communication. The ACM and MIMO system is connected with Infrared and with Radio Frequency Identification systems and sensors as well as with wired Fiber Optic Communication (FOC) and wireless cellular land based or satellite systems. A received Global Positioning System (GPS) signal is also used for processing and transmission in single or in cascaded communication systems. A modulator and transmitter which comprise cascaded hybrid systems, including a cascaded GSM or EDGE, of cascaded infrared (IR) or GSM or CDMA or TDMA or UMTS systems and contain Radio Frequency identification (RFID) signals or sensor or infrared signals.
