1. A pump system, comprising:

  • a. a pump housing comprising at least one pressure sensor, at east one bubble detector, and at least one temperature sensor on a first side of said pump housing, an engaging actuator, and a central controller; and

    b. a cartridge removably connected to said first side of said pump housing comprising a heat exchanger, at least one pressure receptor correspondingly aligned with said at least one pressure sensor, at least one detector interface correspondingly aligned with said at least one bubble detector and said at least one temperature sensor on a first side of said cartridge;

    wherein upon aligning said first side of said cartridge with said first side of said pump housing and actuating said engaging actuator to secure said cartridge to said pump housing, said at least one pressure receptor communicates with said at least one pressure sensor and said at least one detector interface aligns with said at least one bubble detector and said at least one temperature sensor.
