1. A position finder and communication system comprising:
- a first processor for receiving and processing multiple signals received from multiple locations and for generating from said received signals a processed position finder signal;
a second processor, comprising a first cross-correlator and a transmit baseband filter, for generating cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase processed filtered baseband signals from an input signal;
a third processor, comprising a spread spectrum processor and a second cross-correlator, for generating cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase processed spread spectrum signals;
a fourth processor comprising an orthogonal frequency division processor for generating a orthogonal frequency division processed signal;
a fifth processor for generating a signal from a processing of the processed position finder signal generated by the first processor, with one or more of the signals generated by the second, third and fourth processors;
a quadrature modulator for quadrature modulation of the signal generated by the fifth processor; and
a transmitter for transmission of the quadrature modulated signal.

Abstract
A position finder and communication system processes signals received from multiple satellite and land based locations and generates processed position finder signal. A first cross-correlator and a transmit baseband filter generates cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase processed filtered baseband signals from an input signal and a second cross-correlator generates cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase processed spread spectrum signals. A processor processes data, voice or video signal into Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexed (OFDM) or into Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) processed data, voice or video signal. The processed position finder signal is further processed jointly with one or more of the signals generated by the first or second processed cross-correlated signal or with the processed OFDM or OFDMA signal and the jointly processed signal is provided to a quadrature modulator for quadrature modulation and transmission of the quadrature modulated signal. The transmitter for transmission of the quadrature modulated signal includes a first amplifier operated in a first radio frequency (RF) band in a linearly amplified (LINA) mode and a second amplifier operated in a second radio frequency (RF) band operated in a non-linearly amplified (NLA) mode. The cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase processed filtered baseband signals and cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase processed spread spectrum signals are used in a cellular communication system and the OFDM or OFDMA signal is used in a wireless local area network, wherein the cellular communication system and wireless local area network are distinct communication systems and networks.

12. A wireless communication method for:

receiving and processing a position finder signal into a processed position finder signal and for receiving and processing a bank or credit card transaction generated signal into a first and a second cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) processed baseband signal, wherein said first CDMA and said second CDMA signal have different bit rates and for receiving and processing a data signal into a Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexed (OFDM) processed baseband signal and for providing said processed position finder signal with one or more of said first or second CDMA or OFDM baseband signal to a quadrature modulator for quadrature modulation; and a quadrature modulator for quadrature modulation of said processed position finder signal, with one or more of said processed first or second CDMA or OFDM baseband signal, wherein said first and second CDMA modulated signal is used in a distinct CDMA network. - View Dependent Claims (17, 18)
