1. A device for storing a medication delivery pen and a monitor, comprising:

  • a case including a compartment, said compartment including a first portion for removably receiving the medication delivery pen and a second portion for removably receiving the monitor, said case including a bottom member and a top member defining said compartment therebetween and movable relative to one another to open and close said case, wherein said bottom member includes a rigid outer skin and an internal liner, said compartment being defined between said internal liner and said top member; and

    a data connection assembly for establishing communication between said pen and said monitor when said pen and said monitor are stored in said compartment, said data connection assembly extending between said first and second portions, said data connection assembly including a first contact in said first portion of said compartment and a second contact in said second portion of said compartment, and an electrical connector extending between said first contact and said second contact said electrical connector being positioned between said liner and said outer skin of said bottom member.
