1. A method of transmitting a broadcast signal in a transmitter, the method comprising:
- multiplexing mobile data and main data; and
transmitting a transmission frame including the multiplexed mobile and main data,wherein a parade of data groups is transmitted during slots within the transmission frame, the slots being basic time periods for multiplexing of the mobile data and the main data, wherein each data group includes the mobile data and signaling information,wherein the signaling information includes fast information channel (FIC) data including binding information between a service of the mobile data and an ensemble and transmission parameter channel (TPC) data indicating a version of the FIC data,wherein the FIC data is divided into a plurality of FIC segment payloads, and each FIC segment including an FIC segment header and one of the plurality of FIC segment payloads is transmitted in each of the data groups,wherein at least one Reed-Solomon (RS) frame belonging to the ensemble is formed by performing RS-CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) encoding on a payload of the RS frame,wherein the payload of the RS frame comprises a plurality of transport packets which include the mobile data for the service and a signaling table describing the service,wherein the signaling table includes a service labeling table having an identifier of the service and a short name of the service, andwherein the at least one RS frame is divided into a plurality of data portions to which the data groups are mapped.

Abstract
A digital broadcast receiving system and a method for controlling the same are disclosed. The method a method for controlling a digital broadcast receiving system includes the steps of receiving a broadcast signal having mobile service data and main service data multiplexed therein, extracting transmission parameter channel (TPC) signaling information and fast information channel (FIC) signaling information from a data group within the received mobile service data, acquiring a program table, by using the IP signaling channel within an ensemble included in the received broadcast signal, and controlling the system to create a list of channels mapped with all ensembles transmitted through at least one physical frequency, by using the acquired program table.

6. A method of receiving a broadcast signal in a receiver, the method comprising:

receiving a broadcast signal including a transmission frame, wherein a parade of data groups in the broadcast signal is received during slots within the transmission frame, the slots being basic time periods for multiplexing of mobile data and main data, wherein each data group includes the mobile data and signaling information; demodulating the broadcast signal and obtaining, from the signaling information, fast information channel (FIC) data including binding information between a service of the mobile data and an ensemble and transmission parameter channel (TPC) data indicating a version of the FIC data, wherein the FIC data is divided into a plurality of FIC segment payloads, and each FIC segment including an FIC segment header and one of the plurality of FIC segment payloads is received in each of the data groups, wherein at least one Reed-Solomon (RS) frame belonging to the ensemble is formed by performing RS-CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) encoding on a payload of the RS frame, wherein the payload of the RS frame comprises a plurality of transport packets which include the mobile data for the service and a signaling table describing the service, wherein the signaling table includes a service labeling table having an identifier of the service and a short name of the service, and wherein the at least one RS frame is divided into a plurality of data portions to which the data groups are mapped; building a the RS frame by collecting a plurality of data portions, wherein the RS frame is a 2-dimensional data frame through which the ensemble is RS-CRC (Reed Solomon-cyclic redundancy check) encoded, and each row of a payload of the RS frame includes a transport packet of the mobile data; and decoding the built RS frame. - View Dependent Claims (7, 8, 9, 10)
