Patent Images

1. A device for visualizing one or more of the choroids and retina in the eye of a subject comprising:

  • (a) an afocal assembly comprising an objective assembly and a collimating assembly, wherein the objective assembly is configured to relay an aerial image of the subject'"'"'s eye to the collimating assembly, and the collimating assembly collimates the image and relays it to an external pupil in image space;

    (b) one or more proximal modules that are in optical communication with the afocal assembly through the external pupil; and

    a proximal radiation module that emits radiation of sufficient wavelength and intensity to photocoagulate a dye.
