- a base that is arranged to adhere to the surface of a patient;
a source arranged to provide a liquid medicament to be delivered to a patient;
an outlet through which the medicament is delivered to the patient;
a pump that pumps the medicament;
a conduit that conducts the pumped medicament to the outlet; and
a prime indicator that provides a visible indication that the conduit is substantially full of medicament between the reservoir and the outlet,wherein the prime indicator comprises a window within the conduit that changes in transparency when wetted by the medicament.
