An installation for supplying liquid feed to an animal, wherein the installation comprises one or more feed loading places and one or more feed unloading places, one or more vehicles that are autonomously displaceable, controlled by a processor, between said one or more feed loading places and said one or more feed unloading places, each vehicle comprising a drinking nozzle wherein a feed loading place comprises a milking machine.

an automatic milking robot; one or more feeding places, each for containing one or more animals; and an autonomously displaceable vehicle, comprising a milk reservoir, a drinking nozzle and an animal identification device for identifying an animal, the vehicle being arranged to load milk into the milking reservoir from the automatic milking robot, to move to a feeding place, and to supply feed to an animal at the feeding place on the basis of its identity.
