An endoluminal implant comprising a plurality of continuous filaments braided together in helically opposed directions to form a conical or tubular section of the endoluminal implant, at least one filament comprising at least one first region having a first cross-sectional area and at least one second region having a second cross-sectional area, wherein the first cross-sectional area is larger than the second cross-sectional area, a first portion and a second portion, wherein the second portion is more flexible than the first portion and comprises the second region of the at least one filament having the second cross-sectional area.
