1. A method comprising:
- administering insulin to a patient to lower the patient'"'"'s blood glucose concentration;
acquiring a first electroneurogram of at least a first carotid sinus nerve activity;
based at least in part on the administering and the acquiring, determining a relationship between said patient'"'"'s blood glucose concentration and said patient'"'"'s carotid sinus nerve activity;
wherein determining the relationship comprises filtering the electroneurogramacquiring a second electroneurogram of at least a second carotid sinus nerve activity;
analyzing the second electroneurogram for at least a decrease in blood glucose concentration using said relationship; and
when there is a decrease in blood glucose concentration, controlling delivery of a therapy, wherein the therapy comprises increasing sympathetic activity.
