1. An apparatus, comprising:
- a mobile station (MS) operable to communicate with an application service provider (ASP) in a wireless network, said wireless network including a Universal Services Interface (USI); and
wherein said MS includes a USI client adapted to store some or all USI context as required by said ASP and wherein when a user accesses said ASP using something other than a web-browser, said USI client inserts relevant USI context as part of an ASP request message and in order to fetch said USI context of said MS, a USI proxy sends said USI context request to a USI server and said USI server sends a USI context response back to said USI proxy which contains said USI context for said MS.
