Abstract

By introducing new concepts into a structure of a conventional organic semiconductor element and without using a conventional ultra thin film, an organic semiconductor element is provided which is more reliable and has higher yield. Further, efficiency is improved particularly in a photoelectronic device using an organic semiconductor. Between an anode and a cathode, there is provided an organic structure including alternately laminated organic thin film layer (functional organic thin film layer) realizing various functions by making an SCLC flow, and a conductive thin film layer (ohmic conductive thin film layer) imbued with a dark conductivity by doping it with an acceptor and a donor, or by the like method.

Claims

1. An electronic device comprising:

a cathode;

an anode;

a first functional thin film layer comprising a first light emitting layer between the cathode and the anode;

a second functional thin film layer comprising a second light emitting layer between the cathode and the anode; and

a conductive thin film layer including an organic compound between the first functional thin film layer and the second functional thin film layer,

wherein the conductive thin film layer contacts with the first functional thin film layer and the second functional thin film layer,

wherein each of the first functional thin film layer and second functional thin film layers comprises a hole transporting layer and an electron transporting layer,

wherein the conductive thin film layer comprises an acceptor, and

wherein colors of light from the first light emitting layer and the second light emitting layer are different from each other.

2. An electronic device according to claim 1, wherein the acceptor is a material selected from the group consisting of AlCl₃, AlBr₃, AsF₆, and halogen.

3. An electronic device according to claim 1,

wherein the color of light from the first light emitting layer is blue, and

wherein the color of light from the second light emitting layer is yellow.

4. An electronic device according to claim 1,

wherein mixed color of the colors of the light from the first light emitting layer and the light from the second light emitting layer is white.

5. An electronic device according to claim 1, wherein a conductivity of the conductive thin film layer is equal to or greater than 10⁻

10 S/m.

6. An electronic device according to claim 1, wherein the acceptor is a Lewis acid.

7. An electronic device comprising:

a cathode;

an anode;

a first functional thin film layer comprising a first light emitting layer between the cathode and the anode;

a second functional thin film layer comprising a second light emitting layer between the cathode and the anode; and

a conductive thin film layer including an organic compound between the first functional thin film layer and the second functional thin film layer,

wherein each of the first functional thin film layer and second functional thin film layers comprises a hole transporting layer and an electron transporting layer,

wherein the conductive thin film layer contacts with the first functional thin film layer and the second functional thin film layer,

wherein the conductive thin film layer comprises an acceptor and a donor, and

wherein colors of light from the first light emitting layer and the second light emitting layer are different from each other.

8. An electronic device according to claim 7, wherein the donor is a material selected from the group consisting of an alkali metal and an alkali earth metal.

9. An electronic device according to claim 7, wherein the acceptor is a material selected from the group consisting of AlCl₃, AlBr₃, AsF₆, and halogen.

10. An electronic device according to claim 7,

wherein the color of light from the first light emitting layer is blue, and

wherein the color of light from the second light emitting layer is yellow.

11. An electronic device according to claim 7,

wherein mixed color of the colors of the light from the first light emitting layer and the light from the second light emitting layer is white.

12. An electronic device according to claim 7, wherein a conductivity of the conductive thin film layer is equal to or greater than 10⁻

10 S/m.

13. An electronic device according to claim 7, wherein the acceptor is a Lewis acid.

14. An electronic device comprising:

a cathode;

an anode;

a first functional thin film layer comprising a first light emitting layer between the cathode and the anode;

a second functional thin film layer comprising a second light emitting layer between the cathode and the anode; and

a conductive thin film layer between the first functional thin film layer and the second functional thin film layer,

wherein the conductive thin film layer comprising a first layer comprising an acceptor and a first organic compound and a second layer comprising a second organic compound,

wherein the first layer contacts with the first functional thin film layer and the second layer contacts with the second functional thin film layer, and

wherein colors of light from the first light emitting layer and the second light emitting layer are different from each other.

15. An electronic device according to claim 14,

wherein the first functional thin film layer comprises the first organic compound, and

wherein the second functional thin film layer comprises the second organic compound.

16. An electronic device according to claim 14, wherein the acceptor is a material selected from the group consisting of AlCl₃, AlBr₃, AsF₆, and halogen.

17. An electronic device according to claim 14,

wherein the color of light from the first light emitting layer is blue, and

wherein the color of light from the second light emitting layer is yellow.

18. An electronic device according to claim 14,

wherein mixed color of the colors of the light from the first light emitting layer and the light from the second light emitting layer is white.

19. An electronic device according to claim 14, wherein a conductivity of the conductive thin film layer is equal to or greater than 10⁻

10 S/m.

20. An electronic device according to claim 14, wherein the acceptor is a Lewis acid.

21. An electronic device comprising:

a cathode;

an anode;

a first functional thin film layer comprising a first light emitting layer between the cathode and the anode;

a second functional thin film layer comprising a second light emitting layer between the cathode and the anode; and

a conductive thin film layer between the first functional thin film layer and the second functional thin film layer,

wherein the conductive thin film layer comprising a first layer comprising an acceptor and a first organic compound and a second layer comprising a donor and a second organic compound,

wherein the first layer contacts with the first functional thin film layer and the second layer contacts with the second functional thin film layer, and

wherein colors of light from the first light emitting layer and the second light emitting layer are different from each other.

22. An electronic device according to claim 21,

wherein the first functional thin film layer comprises the first organic compound, and

wherein the second functional thin film layer comprises the second organic compound.

23. An electronic device according to claim 21, wherein the donor is a material selected from the group consisting of an alkali metal and an alkali earth metal.

24. An electronic device according to claim 23, wherein the acceptor is a Lewis acid.

25. An electronic device according to claim 21, wherein the acceptor is a material selected from the group consisting of AlCl₃, AlBr₃, AsF₆, and halogen.

26. An electronic device according to claim 21,

wherein the color of light from the first light emitting layer is blue, and

wherein the color of light from the second light emitting layer is yellow.

27. An electronic device according to claim 21,

wherein mixed color of the colors of the light from the first light emitting layer and the light from the second light emitting layer is white.

28. An electronic device according to claim 21, wherein a conductivity of the conductive thin film layer is equal to or greater than 10⁻

10 S/m.

29. An electronic device according to claim 21, wherein the acceptor is a Lewis acid.
