1. A process for production of a nitride phosphor which has a general formula LXMYN((2/3)x+(4/3)Y):

  • R (wherein L is at least one or more elements selected from the Group II Elements consisting of Be, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Zn, Cd and Hg, M is at least one or more elements selected from the Group IV Elements consisting of C, Si, Ge, Sn, Ti, Zr and Hf, and R is an activator, 0.5≦
