1. A method of processing a broadcast signal in a receiving system, the method comprising:
- receiving the broadcast signal, the broadcast signal comprising mobile service data, fast information channel (FIC) data, and transmission parameter channel (TPC) data, wherein the FIC data includes information for rapid mobile service acquisition, and wherein the TPC data includes FIC version information for indicating an update of the FIC data and RS frame mode information for indicating a single frame mode or a dual frame mode;
demodulating the received broadcast signal;
obtaining a signaling information table which is carried by at least one section, each section comprising a section header and a section body, wherein the section header includes an ensemble identifier to identify an ensemble described in a corresponding section and the section body includes service access information; and
decoding the mobile service data using the obtained signaling information table,wherein at least one section is carried through the ensemble, wherein at least one RS frame belongs to the ensemble, and wherein each RS frame is formed by a plurality of groups.

Abstract
A digital broadcasting system and data processing method are disclosed, which are highly resistant to channel changes and noise. The present invention includes receiving a broadcast signal having mobile service data and main service data multiplexed with each other from at least one parade, demodulating the broadcast signal, acquiring program table information describing at least one service included in at least one ensemble from the demodulated broadcast signal and decoding the mobile service data associated with a first service using a program table information transport unit in the acquired program table information.

a tuner for receiving a broadcast signal, the broadcast signal comprising mobile service data, fast information channel (FIC) data, and transmission parameter channel (TPC) data, wherein the FIC data includes information for rapid mobile service acquisition, and wherein the TPC data includes FIC version information for indicating an update of the FIC data and RS frame mode information for indicating a single frame mode or a dual frame mode; a demodulator for demodulating the received broadcast signal; a processor for obtaining a signaling information table which is carried by at least one section, each section comprising a section header and a section body, wherein the section header includes an ensemble identifier to identify an ensemble described in a corresponding section and the section body includes service access information; and a decoder for decoding the mobile service data using the obtained signaling information table, wherein at least one section is carried through the ensemble, wherein at least one RS frame belongs to the ensemble, and wherein each RS frame is formed by a plurality of groups. - View Dependent Claims (8, 9, 10, 11, 12)
