1. A process to produce polyolefins comprising contacting a catalyst or catalyst system with olefin(s) in the presence of a fluorinated hydrocarbon at a polymerization temperature above the onset melting point of the wet polymer, wherein the fluorinated hydrocarbon is present at 5 to 99 volume %, based upon the total volume of fluorocarbons, any hydrocarbon solvents present and any unreacted monomer;

  • provided that if the wet polymer does not have an onset melting point, then the polymerization temperature is 70°

    C. or more and wherein the wet polymer is polymer that has been contacted for at least 12 hours at 50°

    C. in a sealed chamber with the same fluorocarbon(s) and or hydrocarbons(s) used in the polymerization process medium present in the same proportions.
