1. A vehicle comprising:
- a side mirror;
a camera; and
a liquid crystal display device mounted in the side mirror, the liquid crystal display device comprising;
a gate wiring extending in a first direction over a substrate;
a capacitor wiring extending in the first direction;
a first insulating film over the capacitor wiring and the gate wiring;
an active layer over the first insulating film, the active layer including at least two channel forming regions overlapping with the gate wiring wherein a portion of the active layer overlaps with the capacitor wiring;
a second insulating film over the active layer;
a second wiring over the second insulating film, the second wiring extending in a second direction across the gate wiring, wherein the second wiring covers one of the two channel forming regions and is in electrical contact with the active layer; and
a pixel electrode over the second insulating film, the pixel electrode being in electrical contact with the active layer,wherein the liquid crystal display device is configured to display information read from the camera.

Abstract
A vehicle has a display device which widens the field of view (visible area) reflected by a side mirror or a back mirror mounted on the vehicle. To enable a driver driving the vehicle to confirm safety even when it is difficult for the driver to visually recognize some of objects surrounding the vehicle, a liquid crystal display device or an EL display device is provided in the side mirror (door mirror), the back mirror (room mirror) or in an interior portion of the vehicle. A camera is mounted on the vehicle and an image from the camera is displayed on the display device. Further, information read from a sensor (distance measuring sensor) having the function of measuring the distance to another vehicle, and a sensor (impact sensor) having the function of sensing an externally applied impact force larger than a predetermined value is displayed on the display device.
