1. An active matrix display device comprising:

  • a first source signal line, a second source signal line, a gate signal line, a first transistor, and a second transistor formed over a substrate, wherein the first source signal line and the second source signal line are next to each other, and wherein each gate electrode of the first transistor and the second transistor is electrically connected to the gate signal line;

    an insulating film formed over the first transistor and the second transistor; and

    a first pixel electrode and a second pixel electrode formed over the insulating film, wherein the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode are next to each other, wherein the first pixel electrode is electrically connected to the first source signal line via the first transistor, and wherein the second pixel electrode is electrically connected to the second source signal line via the second transistor,wherein a first video signal is supplied to the first pixel electrode via the first source signal line during a frame period,wherein a second video signal having an opposite polarity to the first video signal is supplied to the first pixel electrode via the first source signal line during a next frame period to the frame period,wherein a third video signal having a same polarity as the first video signal is supplied to the second pixel electrode via the second source signal line during the frame period,wherein a fourth video signal having an opposite polarity to the third video signal is supplied to the second pixel electrode via the second source signal line during the next frame period to the frame period,wherein the frame period is a period in which one image is displayed, andwherein a frame frequency is 120 Hz or more.
