1. A method of audio-visual communication using a television, comprising:
- receiving an incoming call signal from a remote user;
responding to the incoming call signal according to a setting, wherein when the setting is set to be auto wakeup and the incoming call is received, the television is turned on automatically and a visual image of the remote user is displayed;
displaying a TV image and an incoming call information at the same time;
determining whether an answering signal from a remote controller has been received; and
responding to the incoming call information to conduct communications.
