1. An electrode arrangement, comprising:
- a first electrode having a first electrode portion;
a second electrode having a second electrode portion, wherein said second electrode portion has at least one electrode edge;
a third electrode having a third electrode portion, wherein said third electrode portion has at least one electrode edge;
a fourth electrode having a fourth electrode portion;
a fifth electrode having a fifth electrode portion, wherein said fifth electrode portion has at least one electrode edge;
a sixth electrode having a sixth electrode portion, wherein said sixth electrode portion has at least one electrode edge;
a seventh electrode having a seventh electrode portion;
wherein said second electrode, said third electrode, said fifth electrode and said sixth electrode are electrically isolated from one another, and wherein said first electrode, said fourth electrode and said seventh electrode are electrically isolated from said second electrode, said third electrode, said fifth electrode and said sixth electrode;
wherein said first electrode, said fourth electrode, and said seventh electrode are electrically coupled to one another;
wherein said second electrode portion and said third electrode portion are between said first electrode and said fourth electrode, and wherein said fifth electrode portion and said sixth electrode portion are between said fourth electrode and said seventh electrode;
wherein said second electrode portion, said third electrode portion, said fourth electrode portion, said fifth electrode portion and said sixth electrode portion are between said first electrode portion and said seventh electrode portion;
wherein said fourth electrode portion and said first electrode portion function together to act as a Faraday shield of said second electrode portion and said third electrode portion when said electrode arrangement is energized;
wherein said fourth electrode portion and said seventh electrode portion function together to act as a Faraday shield of said fifth electrode portion and said sixth electrode portion when said electrode arrangement is energized; and
wherein said first electrode portion, said fourth electrode portion, and said seventh electrode portion operate together to attenuate radiated electromagnetic emissions when said electrode arrangement is energized.
