Insert for a conduit
First Claim
1. An insert for a conduit comprising a longitudinally extending member comprising a base portion and at least one inwardly extending portion wherein the base portion and the at least one inwardly extending portion define at least a partial helix about the longitudinal axis of the conduit consisting of at least 50% of one revolution and wherein the at least one inwardly extending portion extends radially inwardly from the base portion and is laterally bendable relative to the base portion in the plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the conduit from a collapsed position to an inwardly extended position wherein the inwardly extending portion overlies the base portion in the collapsed configuration.
