1. A method of forming a front-projection screen comprising:
- forming a refractive element on a first surface of a first layer;
coupling a first surface of a reflective diffusion target to a location on a second surface of the first layer to receive radiation incident upon the refractive element within a first range of angles;
coupling a first surface of a transparent substrate to the second surface of the first layer and to a second surface of the reflective diffusion target; and
coupling an absorption layer to a second surface of the transparent substrate.
