- a) an LED whose light intensity decreases as the angle from an axis of the LED increases, andb) a convex lens associated with the LED such that a beam width of the LED is concentrated by the lens into a narrower beam width, wherein the convex lens includes both a convex surface and a concave surface, and the concave surface is curved more sharply in a concave manner towards its edge than towards its center such that light is entirely by refraction more evenly spread across the width of the beam exiting lens.
