1. A method for displaying market information using a graphical user interface, the method comprising:
- receiving, at a processor of a client device, market data from an electronic exchange, the market data identifying orders available for a tradeable object at the electronic exchange, each order having a quantity at a price level;
displaying, via the client device, a graphical user interface on an electronic display device;
displaying, via the client device, a static axis of prices on the graphical user interface, the static axis of prices including a plurality of price levels along the static axis of prices;
displaying current order indicators along the static axis of prices via the client device, each displayed current order indicator being associated with an order available to buy or sell the tradeable object during a current time period according to the market data received during the current time period and being displayed at a price level of the static axis of prices corresponding to the price level of the order, where the current order indicators are displayed in a current order region aligned with the static axis of prices; and
displaying prior order indicators along the static axis of prices via the client device, each displayed prior order indicator being associated with at least one order previously available to buy or sell the tradeable object during a prior time period according to market data received during the prior time period and being displayed at a price level of the static axis of prices corresponding to the price level of the order, where the prior order indicators are displayed in a prior order region aligned with the static axis of prices.

1. A method for displaying market information using a graphical user interface, the method comprising:

15. A method of displaying market depth information for a tradeable object using a graphical user interface, the method comprising:

receiving, at a processor of a client device, market data from an electronic exchange, the market data identifying orders available for a tradeable object at the electronic exchange, each order having a quantity at price level; displaying, via the client device, a graphical user interface on a display device, the graphical user interface having a price axis including a plurality of price levels for the tradeable object; dynamically displaying, via the client device, current quantity indicators in a current order region aligned with the price axis according to the market data received during a current time period, and each current quantity indicator being associated with an order available for the tradeable object during the current time period and being displayed at one of the plurality of price levels of the price axis corresponding to the price level of the order; and dynamically displaying, via the client device, prior quantity indicators in a prior order region aligned with the price axis according to the market data received during a prior time period, where each prior quantity indicator is associated with at least one order previously available to buy or sell the tradeable object during the prior time period and is displayed at one of the plurality of price levels of the price axis corresponding to the price level of the order. - View Dependent Claims (16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22)

receiving market data from an electronic exchange, the market data identifying orders available for a tradeable object at the electronic exchange, each order having a quantity at a price level; displaying a graphical user interface having a price axis including a plurality of price levels for the tradeable object; dynamically displaying current quantity indicators in a current order region aligned with the price axis according to the market data received during a current time period, and each current quantity indicator being associated with an order available for the tradeable object during the current time period and being displayed at one of the plurality of price levels of the price axis corresponding to the price level of the order; and dynamically displaying prior quantity indicators in a prior order region aligned with the price axis according to the market data received during a prior time period, and each prior quantity indicator being associated with an order available for the tradeable object during the prior time period and being displayed at one of the plurality of price levels of the price axis corresponding to the price level of the order.
