1. A densified molybdenum metal powder comprising:
- particles of molybdenum metal having a surface-area-to-mass ratio of no more than about 0.5 m2/g as determined by BET analysis, a total weight percent of oxygen less than about 0.05%, and a flowability value less than about 32 s/50 g as determined by a Hall Flowmeter, said particles comprising a densified form of a molybdenum metal powder precursor material having a surface-area-to-mass ratio of between about 1 m2/g and about 4 m2/g, as determined by BET analysis, and a flowability of between about 29 s/50 g and about 86 s/50 g as determined by a Hall Flowmeter.
