1. A method for treating a urinary incontinent woman comprising the steps of:
- a) inserting into the woman'"'"'s vagina a first disposable device having a working portion having opposed faces to provide support to an associated urinary system including a urethra, the opposed faces comprising a first opposed face disposed toward an associated urinary system positioned within the vagina and adjacent the urethra and a second face disposed opposite thereof, and having an insertion equivalent diameter ranging from about 10 to about 25 mm and a use equivalent diameter ranging from about 25 to about 35 mm under an expansion pressure of about 20 to about 150 cm H2O, wherein the insertion equivalent diameter and use equivalent diameter are each measured as a maximum distance between the opposed faces;
b) removing the first disposable device;
c) inserting into the woman'"'"'s vagina a second disposable device substantially identical to the first disposable device.
