1. A computer-readable storage medium having a computer-readable program embodied therein for directing operation of an authentication processor to enroll a customer to perform a financial transaction, the authentication processor including a communications system, a processor, and a storage device, wherein the computer-readable program includes:

  • instructions for receiving verification information at an over-the-air processor, the verification information identifying a mobile electronic device that is to be enrolled, wherein receiving verification information comprises receiving information input by the customer into a web site managed by the over-the-air processorinstructions for receiving a first piece of information at the authentication processor from the over-the-air processor, the first piece of information having been provided to the over-the-air processor by the customer from a mobile electronic device, wherein the first piece of information comprises a personal identification number associated with a financial account;

    instructions for receiving a second piece of information at the authentication processor from a server different from the over-the-air processor, the second piece of information having been provided to the server by the customer, wherein the second piece of information comprises an account number of the financial account; and

    instructions for using a combination of the first and second pieces of information received by the authentication processor to enroll the mobile electronic device of the customer.
