1. A method comprising:
- forming a user interface for displaying a resource information of a resource by defining a pane in which to display the resource information;
evaluating a property of the resource and a current user context of the user interface;
identifying a resource class with which the resource is associated, the identifying comprising;
evaluating at least one of a plurality of parameters contained in a message indicating that the resource information is to be displayed,examining a parent resource type of the resource, andusing at least one of a plurality of default system settings; and
selecting, from a plurality of renderers, a renderer operable to render the resource information in the pane, the selecting being based at least in part on the property, the current user context, and the identified resource class;
wherein at least one of the forming, the evaluating, the identifying, and the selecting are implemented on at least one processor.

17. A system comprising:
-
a screen flow engine operable to receive a message indicating that resource information of a resource is to be displayed and to define, within a user interface, a pane in which to display the resource information; and a renderer provider operable to perform functions comprising; evaluating a property of the resource and a current user context of the user interface; identifying a resource class with which the resource is associated, the identifying comprising; evaluating at least one of a plurality of parameters contained in a message indicating that the resource information is to be displayed, examining a parent resource type of the resource, and using at least one of a plurality of default system settings; and selecting, from a plurality of renderers, a renderer operable to render the resource information in the pane, the selecting being based at least in part on the property of the resource, the current user context, and the identified resource class; wherein at least one of the screen flow engine, the renderer provider, and the renderer are implemented on at least one processor.
