1. A method of making an endoprosthesis, comprising:
- (a) depositing a sol gel solution including a titanium dioxide precursor and a polymer to form a ceramic coating on a preform, the polymer comprising polyethylene glycol having a molecular weight larger than 6000, and the titanium oxide precursor comprising titanium alkoxide; and
(b) treating the ceramic coating with a UV light.
