identifying one or more application servers which are capable of providing the requested application based at least in part on a resource of the identified one or more application servers;
providing, to the client, a list of the identified one or more application servers which are capable of providing the requested application; and
receiving, at the access server from the client, an application server selection from the list of the identified one or more application servers.
