1. A method of using a two-chambered syringe, the method comprising:

  • obtaining a syringe having a first chamber and a second chamber, the second chamber containing a solution, where the second chamber comprises a latching mechanism, having a first position in which movement between a first chamber seal and a second chamber seal is prevented to maintain a volume of the second chamber at a fixed volume, and a conduit coupled between the first chamber and the second chamber and adapted to allow fluid communication between the chambers when the second chamber seal is moved relative to the first chamber seal, the conduit having a reduced cross sectional area relative to a respective cross sectional areas of the first and second chambers;

    adding a liquid to the first chamber after the obtaining step while the second chamber is maintained at the fixed volume, such that the conduit is at least partially empty to permit separation of the solution and the liquid due to fluid mechanics of the solution and liquid when disposed within the syringe;

    expelling the liquid from the first chamber through a first chamber outlet by moving the first chamber seal within the first chamber while maintaining the second chamber at the fixed volume, wherein the second chamber is connected to the first chamber seal and movably disposed with the first chamber seal within the first chamber;

    moving the latching mechanism from the first position to a second position in which movement between the first chamber seal and the second chamber seal is permitted;

    expelling the solution through the conduit and the first chamber outlet by moving the second chamber seal within the second chamber to reduce the volume of the second chamber, andwhere the conduit remains coupled between the first and second chamber and the conduit remains at least partially unfilled while expelling the liquid from the first chamber and retaining the solution in the second chamber.
