1. A driving method of a display device, comprising:

  • reading sense data signals of a first sensing unit row, the sense data signals being sequentially input;

    determining for each sense data signal whether the sense data signal is included in a contactable range;

    converting each sense data signals into a preliminary signal, each preliminary signal having a predetermined value based on whether the sense data signal is included in the contactable range;

    determining whether the first sensing unit row includes an X axis sensed area using the preliminary signals;

    determining whether the X axis sensed area is in an effective contact region when the X axis sensed area is present;

    determining whether a Y axis sensed area is present when the X axis sensed area is in the effective contact region;

    determining whether the Y axis sensed area is in the effective contact region when the Y axis sensed area is present;

    determining a contact position when the X axis sensed area is in the effective contact region; and

    reading sense data signals of a second sensing unit row after the determining of the contact position for the first sensing unit row is finished.
