1. A radiopaque implantable stent-graft, comprising:
- a polymeric prosthesis having inner and outer surfaces and an extruded tubular shape, said polymeric prosthesis being made from ePTFE having a node and fibril structure with nodes and fibrils; and
a radiopaque filler fully integral with said nodes and fibrils, wherein said radiopaque filler is present in amounts sufficient to be fluorometrically detectable, avoid interfering with angiography procedures and still maintain structural integrity of the polymeric prosthesis, said amounts ranging from about 5% to about 20% by weight, said radiopaque filler being distributed therein to form radiotranslucent portions of said polymeric prosthesis, wherein said polymeric prosthesis is free of said radiopaque filler on the inner and outer surfaces; and
a stent disposed over the extruded tubular shape.
