1. A wound dressing for treating a pathology in a portion of a living organism, comprising, at least one layer of conformable, conductive material having a surface resistance of 10 Ohms/in2 to 0.001 Ohms/in2;

  • wherein the at least one layer of conformable, conductive material comprises a mixture of noncoated fibers with fibers uniformly coated with silver or a silver alloy, wherein the silver-coated fibers comprise multilongitudinal filaments that enable the wound dressing to passively deliver an effective amount of silver to the pathology to accelerate or enhance wound healing.
